Service to
the Community
Community service is
very important to Heather and Darren Maertens as well
as the to the Maertens staff. Maertens supports many
local community groups, including, but not limited to,
the United Way of Calvert County, the Arc of Southern
Maryland, the American Chestnut Land Trust, the Arts
Council and the Calvert Artist Showcase. Darren also
serve of the boards for the Chamber of Commerce, the
United Way of Calvert County, and is the president of
the Northern Calvert Rotary for 2005-2006.
